2020 Capital Improvements Project
The 2020 Capital Improvements Project for the Waterloo Central School District focused on improving district facilities and supporting the long-term needs of students and staff. The project included site improvements such as reconstruction of the High School and Middle School parking lots, upgrades to campus drainage infrastructure, and enhancements to athletic facilities including the West Field and field event areas.
Interior renovations were completed throughout both the Middle School and High School, including improvements to science classrooms, art rooms, the technology shop, locker rooms, and gymnasium spaces. Additional upgrades included improvements to the main office and entrance areas, new exterior doors at multiple locations, and a multi-phase roofing program designed to improve building performance and longevity.
Through strategic scheduling and coordination, the district successfully completed these improvements while maintaining normal school operations, ensuring minimal disruption to students, faculty, and staff throughout the construction process.
